Hello Friends,

Today, 31st Aug is blessed day in my life, as I got 2nd life on same day in 2007, I was one of those fortunate who survived from heart-attack at the age of 40 !

After being recommended for undergoing heart bypass surgery in May 2013, I wanted to understand many medical terminology like LVEF & test like FFR, hence researched lot about heart on net which is shared on my health update Facebook page Health is wealth, Empower yourself through knowledge - Manish Desai. In addition to heart, I will be sharing useful health care information on same page.

Don’t ignore blood pressure, sugar, or cholesterol as all 3 are silent killers which can ultimately result in critical health problem/s. Go for periodical medical check-ups of all 3 ( atleast once in a year ).

Try to stay away from junk/fast foods. Take healthy foods.

Ensure you are properly insured ( life as well as medically ) for financial security of your loved ones & wealth protection.

Sharing here the poem of Atalji which I like most. 

This poem, which Vajpayee calls the Document of Life, was written in Nov 1988 in hospital, where he lay suffering from serious illness. All thoughts that passed through his mind on that night, as he lay sleepless in the twilight zone between Life and Death, are vividly portrayed in this poem.

Maut Se Than Gayee ( A confrontation with death )

ठन गई ! मौत से ठन गई !

जूझने का मेरा कोई इरादा न था, 

मोड़ पर मिलेंगे इसका कोई वादा न था,

रास्ता रोककर वह खड़ी हो गई । 

यों लगा जिंदगी से बड़ी हो गई ।

मौत की उम्र क्या दो पल भी नहीं,

जिंदगी-सिलसिला, आज कल की नहीं,

मैं जी भर जिया, मैं मन से मरूं,

लौटकर आऊंगा, कूच से क्यों डरूं

तू दबे पाव, चोरी-छिपे से न आ,

सामने वार कर, फिर मुझे आजमा,

मौत से बेखबर, जिंदगी का सफर,

शाम हर सुरमई, रात बंसी का स्वर ।

बात ऐसी नहीं कि कोई गम ही नहीं,

दर्द अपने-पराए कुछ कम भी नहीं

प्यार इतना परायों से मुझको मिला,

न अपनों से बाकी है कोई गिला ।

हर चुनौती से दो हाथ मैंने किए,

आंधियों में जलाएं हैं बुझते दिए,

आज झकझोरता तेज तूफान है,

नाव भंवरों की बाहों में मेहमान ह ै।

पार पाने का कायम मगर हौसला,

देख तूफां का तेवर तरी तन गई,

मौत से ठन गई !!
